Restaurant managers Andreas Horvath and Jaroslav Dombovari very successfully manage the fortunes of the Klostergasthof which has an 800-year architectural history. From the Hubertus, Wildegg and Klosterstüberl to the hunting and wedding halls - the sacred walls offer guests space to unwind. In the summer months, you can dine in the inn garden with a view of Heiligenkreuz Abbey. The highly trained service staff are courteous and happy to tell you more about the history of the house.

It is the traditional inn cuisine that is appreciated at the Klostergasthof Heiligenkreuz. Seasonal specialities include game and fish. The game stew with napkin dumplings or the grilled salmon fillet with rice and vegetables testify to high culinary skills. For a successful end to the menu, try the monastery cream slice, served with a wild berry topping and vanilla sauce. A variety of products from the monastery's own production are available in the monastery shop. People are visibly proud of the beer brewed at Schlägl Abbey.
