Protestant parish church of Klosterneuburg

The Protestant church in Klosterneuburg built in 1995 is a particularly successful example of modern church architecture. The oval ground plan emphasises the community-building function of the church space. An essential design element is the light, which includes, so to speak, a perspective from outside in the worship and thus makes the visitor aware that he is part of creation in its infinite diversity and change. The Protestant church Klosterneuburg is a work of Heinz Tesar, the altarpiece was created by Hubert Scheibl.
