Der 21 m hohe "Harzbergturm" wurde zum 50-jährigen Regierungsjubiläum von Kaiser Franz Joseph I. errichtet.
In 1898, the Austrian monarchy celebrated its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, the architect Anton Kainrath erected the jubilee observation point at the Harzberg in Bad Vöslau on behalf of the community. The 21m high tower offers a wide view over the Wienerbecken.
Right next to it, is the shelter on the Harzberg with a wonderful view, Hirter beer garden and a kangaroo farm. You can reach the Harzberg by taking Route 4 of the Wein.Wald.Wasser-Wanderarena (Woods, water and wine and hiking arena) and also via a forest road.
